Panic attacks
“A panic attack usually occurs very unexpectedly, often when you rest or in a safe environment – you may start to experience a variety of frightening symptoms: rapid heartbeat, increased breathing, sweating, tremors, or lack of or shortness of breath. You may also experience chest pain, nausea, dizziness, various numbness, tingling, hot flashes, or shivering. Some people have a sense of separation from reality, a fear of losing control, going crazy, or dying. If panic attacks recur, you will feel constant tension with both panic attacks and fears that the attack may recur quickly and worry about the consequences. Cognitive and behavioral therapy is a highly effective type of psychotherapy whose effectiveness in treating panic disorder has been proven by numerous scientific studies. During it, I will teach you the most effective ways to manage anxiety and panic.“
Interpersonal relationship
“Interpersonal relationships are very changeable and multifaceted. It is determined by our personal innate and acquired character traits, beliefs, attitudes, expectations and values formulated from early experiences. When communicating with others, we will inevitably face conflicting feelings – anger, jealousy, helplessness and sadness. People start to avoid each other, open the wall of silence, often terminate relationships or any communication at all. Various competencies of emotional intelligence, knowledge and awareness of one’s reactions and the ability to choose one’s own response becomes important in resolving a conflict. The greater our emotional maturity, the more sustainable and joyful our relationships are. If situations recur, if long-term relationships fail, or if the current situation fails to stabilize, it is important to seek help. During our consultation, we explore existing issues together, looking for answers to what we can change to make your relationship and life more enjoyable.“
Psychological resilience
“Psychological resilience is, first of all, the ability to cope with life’s challenges. Second, it is the ability to adapt successfully in the face of adverse circumstances. And third, no less important – the ability to recover. The concept of psychological flexibility also includes the ability to become stronger, more experienced and learn how to cope in the face of trauma and recovery. Cognitive behavioral therapy teaches us to accept not only our own achievements but also our failures in a constructive way. I will help you to not be afraid to make mistakes and to experience difficulties, so that you can learn and improve.“
