No matter what challenges you may face, my most important task is to create a safe and supportive space where we can together examine your needs for help and change.
You will receive unconditional empathy, consideration and acceptance in the alliance we create together. We will look at what is causing your current difficulties and then what it takes and what you can do to thrive again. I use different methods, which depends on what issue you are facing and what works for you. It can be, for example, cognitive behavioral therapy, meta-cognitive behavioral therapy or ACT. The goal of the conversations is that you experience effective help to solve the challenges you face and expand your knowledge and care for yourself. I will continuously follow up with you and ensure that we are on the right track and that the conversations are effective for you.

Anxiety
“Being afraid and scared is a natural part of people’s daily lives. But when fear begins to disrupt everyday life and one’s daily wellbeing, one has what is called anxiety. In my treatment, I give you understanding and insight into anxiety. I teach you techniques to deal with anxiety and I will use exercises to help you minimize anxiety so you can thrive in your everyday life without being controlled by it.”

“When you have a depression, you are most often sad and lack energy and motivation. It can all seem heavy and one can experience a meaninglessness and hopelessness. In life we all experience accidents, crises, major changes or grief. There are many degrees of depression and it is all part of a normal life with its changing circumstances and crises. Depression can become very debilitating in some cases and in my treatment I will give you knowledge about depression and how to handle it. I want to help you gain an increased insight into what gives you joy and what has value to you. I want to help you introduce these values into your everyday life, which will contribute to an experience of increased energy and motivation. I will support and guide you to take the steps necessary for you to live a life that is meaningful for you.”
Stress
“Stress is a state that can be both have a restrain mental and physical. Stress is not a disease, but a condition that all people experience in their lives. The condition occurs when demands in one’s environment strain and drain one mentally or physically. These can be, for example, requirements in working life or requirements in private life. In my treatment I will help you identify the things that are stressful. I will help you develop new strategies for dealing with the stressful task or situation and give you techniques that can be used in future situations where you experience high levels of stress.”
